In connection with the expansion of the roller machinery, we are looking for enthusiastic employees who are ready for the next step in their career and who want to develop into the position of roller or assistant roller. We train you internally (for about one year) and then place you in one of our main operations: rolling. Are you up to the task of rolling sheets with a thickness of up to 180 mm into the perfect hull?
As a Hall Coordinator, you are responsible for the operational management of the employees, machinery, tools, means of transport, and facilities in your hall(s). This is done in such a way that the production process is safe and efficient, with team members communicating effectively and adhering to the project agreements made. You communicate daily with the production manager in order to closely monitor progress. In short, you play a pivotal role in Sif's production process.
Sif continues to grow. We're always on the lookout for new and fresh talents who want to pursue a career in the world of metalworking. No experience? Not a problem! You can start with us as a trainee and follow an extensive training programme. In this training programme, we give you the opportunity to get to know our organization in general and our unique production process in particular. Machining, grinding, burning, assembling, manual welding, or submerged arc welding: it's all possible at Sif!
As a submerged arc welder, you make welding connections using automatic or semi-automatic welding machines, which comply with the relevant welding procedure specification (WPS). Since the machines are highly specialized, we train the submerged arc welders ourselves. You ensure that the welding machine stays in good condition by carrying out minor preventative maintenance and correctly handing over the work to the next shift. This includes keeping the workplace clean and tidy (Housekeeping).
